Events
Announce a training session, a raid or a club party — the bot keeps the attendance list, sends reminders and moves people up.
The question every group asks every week: who is coming? Until now that went through a poll nobody updates, or through fifteen messages in the chat.
/termin anlegen was:Training datum:21.10. zeit:19:00 wiederholen:Jede Woche
The bot puts the event into the channel, with three buttons underneath: Dabei (in), Vielleicht (maybe), Nicht dabei (out). The list in the post updates with every click — there is no place where an outdated attendance figure can stay behind.
Line-ups
For when it is not only about whether someone is coming, but as what:
| Line-up | Slots |
|---|---|
| Ohne (none) | only Dabei, Vielleicht, Nicht dabei — the normal case |
| Gilde (guild) | Tank (max. 2), Heiler (healer, max. 4), Schaden (damage, max. 14) |
| Fußball (football) | Tor (goal, max. 2), Abwehr (defence), Mittelfeld (midfield), Sturm (attack) |
| Fahrdienst (driving) | Fahrer (driver), Mitfahrer (passenger) |
| Helfer (helpers) | Aufbau (setting up), Durchführung (running it), Abbau (taking down) |
/termin anlegen was:Raid datum:24.10. zeit:20:00 aufstellung:Gilde
A selection labelled "Als was kommst du?" (what are you coming as?) then appears below the buttons. Every slot has its own upper limit — a full tank slot does not block the healers.
Waiting list
With plaetze:20 it is over after twenty acceptances. Anyone who clicks after that ends up on
the waiting list and is told so — and moves up automatically as soon as someone drops out.
The bot then writes to the channel to say who is in.
The order of sign-up decides. That sounds obvious, but it is not: without a fixed order, someone different would be on the list every time it is redrawn, and nobody forgives that.
Reminder
One hour beforehand by default, changeable per event. Only those who have accepted are reminded — and, if you want, the waiting list along with them, because anyone who might move up should know in good time.
A voice channel by itself
/termin anlegen was:Raid datum:24.10. zeit:20:00 sprachkanal:true
A quarter of an hour beforehand a voice channel appears, two hours after the start it disappears again — but only if nobody is sitting in it any more. That saves you the channel that otherwise nobody clears away after three weeks.
Repetition
wiederholen:Jede Woche creates the follow-up event automatically as soon as the current one has
started. Daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly are available.
Two things about this:
The sign-ups are not carried over. Anyone who was at training last week is not automatically in this week. Anything else would produce an attendance list nobody can rely on.
The time stays the time. Across the clock change as well, the weekly training session at 7 pm is at 7 pm — not suddenly at 6 or 8.
With "monthly on the 31st", months without that day are skipped. Sliding quietly to the 1st would be worse, because nobody notices it.
Date and time
Asked for separately, and deliberately strict:
- Date:
21.10.,21.10.2026,heute(today) ormorgen(tomorrow) - Time:
19:00, German time
Anything else the bot rejects instead of guessing. "Next Tuesday evening" sounds convenient — but what the bot makes of it goes unnoticed until half the team is standing there on the wrong day.
Both appear in the post: the date in plain text and, next to it, Discord's own time display, which converts it into each person's time zone. In a guild, hardly anyone is in the same one.
Cancelling
/termin absagen
The post turns grey, the buttons disappear — and everyone who had accepted is notified. A silent cancellation is not a cancellation.
Who may do what
Creating and cancelling is for anyone who manages the server, or anyone with a role entered for it
under /termin setup — with a team, usually the coach role. Accepting is for everyone.
