The Legend

Where the name comes from — out of QuakeNet and into the Discord era.

Same Fish. New Waters. More Chaos.

There was once a time when the internet still consisted of IRC channels, clans and endless nights. In the middle of the chaos of QuakeNet swam a small, headstrong bot called FishBot.

He was more than a few lines of code. He was a cult, a mess and a piece of internet history.

The years went by. IRC grew quieter, Discord took over the servers, and the old legends slowly disappeared into the depths of the net.

But some legends do not die. They evolve.

What became of it

Now FishBot returns: rebuilt, modular and packed with features. Moderation, security, entertainment, automation, utilities and much more — all of it united in a single bot.

One bot. Every module. Your server.

Back then QuakeNet. One bot in one channel, for the people who were there.
In between IRC fell silent. Discord took over.
Today The same fish, new waters — a bot for any number of servers, with a dashboard in the browser.

What has stayed

The name, the tone and the attitude: a bot belongs to the server it runs on, not the other way round. That is why every module here can be switched off on its own, why the bot does not read along in your channels, and why the privacy policy contains not one sentence we do not mean.

What is new

Everything else. The code of back then is not the code of today — this is a rebuild from the ground up, in TypeScript, with a web dashboard, modules you book individually, and a wiki that explains every feature. What comes from the old days is the idea. What runs today is newly built.

Born in IRC. Reborn on Discord.
